"Pucks and Paws" Event Returns Sunday, March 20

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, a two-time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," announced "Pucks and Paws" presented by Carter's Pet Mart, hosted by the Thunder. The event is scheduled to return for the Sunday, March 20, 4:00 p.m. home game against the Idaho Steelheads at Stockton Arena.

The special event was successful in its launch last season and is geared to combine hockey with dog lovers. The Thunder is offering special seating for fans who bring a dog to the game.

Tickets are being offered for $10 to all fans and $5 per dog and include a free Thunder dog bandana to the first 200 dogs in attendance courtesy of Carter's Pet Mart. Tickets also include admission to a special pet fair on the "Fan Deck" of Stockton Arena, featuring various pet vendor booths offering complimentary gifts and information and nearby seating to accommodate owners and dogs attending the game.

All fans bringing a dog to the game will have the opportunity to capture the special day at a pet photo booth sponsored by Caroline Photography.

Tickets for "Pucks and Paws" presented by Carter's Pet Mart can be purchased by calling the Thunder at (209) 373-1500. $3 from each event ticket sold will benefit the Delta Humane Society.
