Highlights from the game
The Condors got the early jump, benefiting from three straight power plays in the opening minutes. They took five of the first six shots and scored twice with the man advantage in the first four minutes. F Tyler Brenner and F Peter Boyd picked up the tallies for Bakersfield to give them the lead.
Bakersfield added to the lead 3:41 into the middle stanza, with rookie F Nicolas Tremblay scoring in his Condors debut to make it 3-0. Greenham made the lead hold up with 19 saves through 40 minutes - 10 of which came in the second period. F Brett Lyon brought the fans out of their seats with some pugilism in the final minute before intermission.
Greenham took over from there, adding ten more saves in the third. Bakersfield killed off a pair of third period power plays for Idaho, and rubbed it in with two goals in the last 90 seconds, a blast from the blueline by D Kyle Haines and a redirection by F Nick Prockow in the final minute.
