
Condors Host Blood Drive Night, Fly Swatter Giveaway, and Hockey-Thon

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors. owned by the Edmonton Oilers, host three games on Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arena this Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. After Blood Drive Night on Tuesday, the weekend begins with Fly Swatter Giveaway on Friday and Condors Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon on Saturday.
All games begin at 7 p.m. (doors at 6 p.m. / 5:45 for STH) with the Condors Alumni Game beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday (doors at 4:45 p.m.)
CONDORS OUT FOR BLOOD NIGHT / $1 Tickets - Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. If you donated blood during the month of March at either Houchin Community Blood Bank location bring your voucher for a $1 ticket to the game Condors players Andrew Radjenovic, Gabriel Verpaelst, Sebastien Sylvestre, and Nick Zappia along with head coach J-F Houle all made appearances at Houchin Blood Bank to donate blood, sign autographs, and making giving blood a great experience Presented by KUZZ 107.9 FM, Cafe Med, and Houchin Community Blood Bank Carl's Jr. Two-for-Tuesday - purchase a combo meal at any Bakersfield Carl's Jr. location and receive a two-for-one ticket voucher
CONDORS FLY SWATTER GIVEAWAY - Friday, March. 27 at 7 p.m. Swat away the competition with a Condors fly swatter to the first 2,000 households Presented by Eyewitness News, Comedy 800 AM, and Rabobank There will also be the 2nd Annual Hairiest Back Competition during intermission. Last year saw Eric Oldes take home the top spot. Submissions are being accepted now via e-mail to condors@bakersfieldcondors.com. Finalists will be notified and receive two tickets to the game "Skate-A-Thon" - help kick off Hockey-Thon with the first-ever Skate-A-Thon at 10 p.m. A minimum of $75 is needed in pledges to participate and includes two tickets to Friday's game and skate rental.
TRADING CARD SET GIVEAWAY / HOCKEY-THON - Saturday, March 28 at 7 p.m. The first 2,000 kids, 12 and under, will receive Condors team trading card sets featuring players from this year's team AND legends of Condors past including Paul Willett, Steve Dowhy, Paul Rosebush, Glen Mears, Jamie Cooke and many more! Come see those players plus other greats Scott Hay, Andrew Ianiero, Mike Hofstrand, Joe Watkins, Brian McCarthy, Kevin Barrett, Kevin Truelson, Scott Borders, Kyle Calder and Joel Irving play in the annual Condors Alumni Game at 5 p.m. as part of the 11th annual Condors Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon Condors Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon, a 24-hour hockey marathon, has raised over $350,000 in the fight against cancer and this year benefits the Bakersfield Relay for Life of the American Cancer Society Alumni specialty jerseys and other memorabilia will be available via silent auction on the concourse during the Condors game Presented by Hits 93.1 FM Camelot Park Kids Club Night - all members receive free lower level admission
KIDS CLUB PARTY with the Players - Wednesday 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Camelot Park Come enjoy pizza, soda, and mini-golf with the entire team at Camelot Park, 1251 Oak Street Not a member? Sign your kids up for just $10 and receive the party free and admission to two remaining games, including Saturday's game
