Indy Fuel News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, dropped a Tuesday night tilt at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the Kalamazoo Wings by a final score of 5-3 before suffering a 4-1 setback at home to the Fort Wayne Komets on Wednesday and falling at Charleston, South Carolina's North Charleston Coliseum on Friday to the South Carolina Stingrays by a 4-0 margin. A strong performance from Indy on Saturday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina led to a 6-1 win over the Greenville Road Warriors and helped to salvage a 1-3-0-0 week for the Fuel.
Following the week's action, Indy's record stands at 26-28-4-5 overall this season and with 61 points, the Fuel sit tied with the Cincinnati Cyclones for fifth place in the ECHL's North Division standings, just one point shy of the fourth-place Wheeling Nailers who currently occupy the Division's final playoff spot.
