Americans Travel to Tulsa, Host Missouri on Friday

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans clinched the ECHL Central Division with an 8-2 win over the Tulsa Oilers on Sunday. Allen travels to Tulsa on Wednesday night.

Last Week's Record: 2-2-0

Overall record: 41-14-5-3, 90 points- Top team in the Central Division.

Tuesday, March 17th vs. Wichita - 4-3 OT Loss

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans picked up a point in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Wichita Thunder. Gary Steffes and Chad Costello both scored for Allen.

Wednesday, March 18th vs. Wichita - 4-0 Loss

Allen, Texas - Wichita Thunder goalie Grant Rollheiser stopped all 34 shots he faced in a 4-0 win over the Americans. It was the first time all season Allen was shut out in a game.

Friday, March 20th @ Wichita - 4-3 Win

Wichita, Kansas - Chad Costello and Jamie Schaafsma both scored in the third period, as the Allen Americans overcame a 3-2 third period deficit to defeat the Wichita Thunder, 4-3 at Intrust Bank Arena.

Sunday, March 22nd vs. Tulsa - 8-2 Win

Allen, Texas - Gary Steffes scored his league-leading 43rd and 44th goals of the season, as the Americans exploded for eight goals in an 8-2 win over the Tulsa Oilers. Chad Costello finished the game with a goal, two assists, and a plus five for the game.
