The K-Wings will begin the week this Friday, March 27th with a 7:05 p.m. (MDT) face-off versus the Colorado Eagles. Friday will be the first of three meetings this season between the K-Wings and the Eagles. March 27th will mark the first time Kalamazoo has played a road game against a Western Conference opponent since the 2012 Kelly Cup Finals against the Alaska Aces.

The K-Wings and Eagles will meet for the second straight game on Saturday, March 29th. The Eagles' roster features three former K-Wings (Darryl Bootland, Trent Daavettila and Kyle Kraemer).

Kalamazoo will close out a four-game road trip this Sunday, March 29th with a 5:05 p.m. (MDT) encounter against Colorado. The Eagles start the week in second place (39-21-2-3, 83 points) in the Pacific Division.

KALAMAZOO - Holding the Indy Fuel at bay for the majority of the night, the Kalamazoo Wings pulled away late to defeat Indy 5-3 during the 34th Annual "World Famous" St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game, presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts.

KALAMAZOO - Utilizing a 3-for-5 performance on the power-play the Kalamazoo Wings defeated the Fort Wayne Friday at Wings Stadium on Celebration! Cinema Night.

READING - Tied after 40 minutes, the Kalamazoo Wings responded with three goals in the final 20 minutes to skate past the Reading Royals 5-2 Saturday night at the Santander Arena.

Friday night will be Nick Bootland's 500th career game as head coach. Bootland is 271-177-21-29 in his coaching career.
Good after Two
The K-Wings haven't lost a game when leading after the second period. Kalamazoo is 19-0-0-0 when carrying a lead into the third period.
Heading West
This Friday, Kalamazoo will play their first-ever game against the Colorado Eagles. The game will be the first time in the regular season and the first since the 2012 Kelly Cup Finals (Alaska Aces) that the K-Wings will play a road game against a Western Conference opponent.
The Obscure Stat of the Week
Last Saturday the K-Wings and the Toledo Walleye participated in fourth-ever ECHL penalty free game. It was the first time since 2003 that the league had a game that neither team received a penalty.
