
Condors Deal For Pair of Lynx

The Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL have announced a trade today with the Augusta Lynx that brings in LW Stu Pietersma and D John Donnelly for future considerations. The pair should be in the lineup this weekend when the Condors return home for a Sunday match against the Long Beach Ice Dogs.
Pietersma, 22, is in just his second season in the pro ranks and split this year between Augusta and the Florida Everblades. The Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta native has 534 penalty minutes and 16 points in just over 100 career games. Donnelly, 24, is in his rookie season as a pro. At 6'4", 205-lbs., the native of Marquette, Michigan has appeared in 36 games this season between Augusta and the Elmira Jackals of the United Hockey League. In his last season at St. Norbert College, he recorded 13 points and 37 PIM in 28 games.
The Condors are on the road in Alaska tonight and Wednesday for a pair of games that begin at 8:00pm Pacific Time. They return home to play the Long Beach Ice Dogs on Sunday, March 7th at 2:00pm. All fans in attendance will receive a Condors "Splash Down" Poster, courtesy of Bright House Networks, Spanish Radio Group and Everlasting Pools. Before the game there is a Spanish Radio Group and El Californiano Pre-Game Fiesta, the Fiesta starts at noon on the Centennial Plaza and features clowns, bounce houses, a magician and much more. The fun continues after the game as all season ticket holders are invited to skate with the Condors, limited skate rental is available for $5.00.
