
Rivermen Captains' Booster Club to Host St. Jude Bowl-A-Thon

Peoria, Ill. (March 2, 2004) â The Rivermen Captains' Booster Club announced today that the annual St. Jude Bowl-A-Thon with the Peoria Rivermen will be held today â Tuesday, March 2 â at Landmark Lanes from 4-6:00 p.m.
The cost for bowlers is $6 each, which includes three games and bowling shoes (if needed). Rivermen players and members of the coaching staff will each be bowling three games with two-three Booster Club members or fans.
Proceeds and donations benefit the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate. Fans can make a tax deductible contribution in the name of their favorite player.
The Rivermen host the archrival Toledo Storm on Friday, March 5 and Saturday, March 6. Game times are 7:00 p.m. at Carver Arena. On Friday, it is another Coca-Cola Finally Friday. Fans receive a 2-for-1 Upper Bowl admission when they present a Cherry Coke or Vanilla Coke can at the Carver Arena Box Office. On Saturday, Christian Rock Group "Jars of Clay" will perform in a post-game concert, courtesy of the Berean Bookstore. The first 5,000 fans will also receive a Rivermen Team Photo, courtesy of Mac's and Big Foot Convenience Stores.
