Notes from the Nest:
After the Condors head to Ontario for a game on Friday night, they return to the Mercy & Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena on Saturday to host the Idaho Steelheads for the 10th annual Teddy Bear Toss, sponsored by KBAK-29, KERN 1410 and Wells Fargo. All fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to be thrown onto the ice when the Condors score their first goal.
All the stuffed animals will be collected and donated to less-fortunate children through the United Way of Kern County. Last season's Teddy Bear Toss drew a standing-room-only crowd, so be sure to order your tickets in advance and show up early on Saturday! Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
All fans in attendance Saturday will also receive a free "Condors Top Guns" poster, featuring LW Mark Derlago and F Matt Caruana!
