Henley Recalled to Norfolk

AUGUSTA, Ga..− The Augusta Lynx have announced that the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL have recalled defenseman Brent Henley.

Henley, 28, had two penalty minutes in two games with the Lynx this season, and 51 penalty minutes in four games with the Admirals. The 6-foot-7, 250-pound native of Coquitlam, B.C., has 966 penalty and 31 points (six goals, 25 assists) in 176career ECHL games with Jackson, South Carolina, Greenville, Phoenix, Utah, Pensacola, and Augusta from 2001-02 through 2008-09. Henley also has 196 penalty minutes and five points (one goal, four assists) in 50 career AHL games with Lowell, Rochester, Toronto, Edmonton, Springfield and Norfolk from 2002-03 through 2008-09.

The Lynx return to the James Brown Arena on Saturday, Nov. 29 to host the Charlotte Checkers at 7:00 p.m. Come celebrate Louie the Lynx's birthday that night with local mascots and $10 tickets for every seat! The Lynx will also be having their annual Teddy Bear Toss, when fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to be tossed on the ice following the club's first goal. The animals will then be distributed to children throughout the CSRA.
