Notes from the Nest
After the Condors head to Ontario for a game on Friday night, they return to the Mercy & Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena on Saturday to host the Idaho Steelheads for the 10th annual Teddy Bear Toss, sponsored by KBAK-29, KERN 1410 and Wells Fargo. All fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to be thrown onto the ice for charity when the Condors score their first goal. Last season's Teddy Bear Toss drew a standing-room-only, sell-out crowd, so be sure to order your tickets in advance and show up early on Saturday! Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
All fans in attendance Saturday will also receive a free "Condors Top Guns" poster, featuring LW Mark Derlago and F Matt Caruana.
Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. This week, the Box Office will be closing on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Box Office and Front Office will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving, but both will be open on Friday.
Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322-2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
