
Bombers Close Out Road Swing With 4-2 Loss At Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH -- The Dayton Bombers end their five game sojourn away from home ice with a 4-2 loss at Cincinnati Tuesday night.
After a scoreless first, Cincinnati took the lead at 3:12 of the second on an unassisted goal by Olivier Latendresse. The Bombers would tie it at 18:46 of the period on Dan Riedel's power play goal (his eighth of the year) with assists to Justin Bowers and Mike Looby. It was 1-1 after two.
In the third, Cincinnati took the lead for good at 8:36 on Ian McKenzie's goal and extended it to 3-1 at 9:45 on the second goal by Latendresse. Dayton got one back at 16:18 on Christian Gaudet's second of the year with assists to Bowers and Nino Musitelli. The Cyclones closed out the scoring at 19:17 on an empty-netter for a 4-2 final.
Goaltender Tyler Plante saved 37 of 40 attempts.
Dayton returns home Friday night with a 7:35 game with Wheeling. Fans bringing food for the Food Bank can receive two-for-one tickets. That game can be heard on 980 WONE and the B-2 Networks.
