Colts Announce Regular Season Schedule

Barrie, ON - The Barrie Colts today officially announced their regular season and exhibition schedules for the 2012-13 season.

This year's regular season home schedule has 14 Thursday and 19 Saturday night games. The annual New Year's Eve game will take place on Monday, December 31st against the Sudbury Wolves.

Barrie begins the season in Ottawa on September 20th, and will host the Owen Sound Attack one week later for their official home opener on September 27th. All regular season home games start at 7:30 p.m.

Here is a breakdown of Barrie's schedule by month:

September- 5 games- 2 home, 3 away

October- 10 games- 7 home, 3 away

November- 13 games- 5 home, 8 away

December- 8 games- 6 home, 2 away

January- 13 games- 6 home, 7 away

February- 12 games- 4 home, 8 away

March- 7 games- 4 home, 3 away

Total- 68 games- 34 home, 34 away

Other notables:

Longest home-stand- Four games (December 6-15)

Longest road swing- Six games (January 30 "" February 13)

Busiest months- 13 games- November & January

Three games in three nights- 8 occasions

Longest Stretch between games- 11 days, Christmas break

Barrie's exhibition schedule consists of six games. Their first is scheduled for Sunday September 2nd in Owen Sound at 2:00 p.m. They will then host the Attack on September 3rd at 6:00 p.m.

Barrie will also host exhibition games on Sunday, September 9th against Kitchener and on Saturday, September 15th against Guelph.

Season's tickets for the 2012-13 season are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Colts office at (705)-737-6931.

A full season's tickets package includes tickets to all home exhibition games, plus 34 regular season home games and the first two home playoff games. Prices are as follows:

$591.00 plus HST Individual seat Tiered Restaurant Seating

$555.00 plus HST Individual seat in Central Zone

$519.00 plus HST Individual seat behind Visitor's Goal and Corner Areas
