JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Hao Yu Lee scored on a throwing error from pitcher Daniel Juarez in the bottom of the ninth to give the BlueClaws a 3-2 win over Brooklyn on Wednesday and their sixth straight win.

Rixon Wingrove's squibber was fielded by Juarez, but his throw got away from first baseman Brad Malm, allowing Lee to score the winning run. It was the first walk-off win for the BlueClaws in Lakewood since July 7, 2021 (they had one in a game in Hudson Valley last year in which they were the home team).

Jordi Martinez got out of a bases loaded jam in the top of the ninth to keep the game tied at two. The BlueClaws had tie the game in the bottom of the 8th on a Casey martin RBI single, but left the bases loaded after that.

Brooklyn, who left 10 men on base, took the lead on Alex Ramirez's single of Tommy McCollum in the top of the eighth inning, left runners at second and third to end the inning when Cam Wynne got Cesar Berbesi to fly out to left field.

After Brooklyn starter Cameron Foster retired the first eight batters he faced, Jared Carr gave the BlueClaws the lead with his first home run of the season.

The Cyclones came back to tie the game off starter Jordan Fowler in the fourth. Stanley Consuegra, who walked, was brought home on Jaylen Palmer's one-out RBI triple that tied the game. Fowler, however, was able to strand Palmer at third to keep the game level.

Fowler went five innings, plus one batter in the sixth, and allowed just one run. He did not factor in the decision.

Leandro Pineda and Martin had two hits for Jersey Shore. Wilfredo Flores went 0-3 and his hitting streak ended at eight.

The teams continue their series on Thursday night at 6:35 pm.
