Jake Peter doubled to bring home Cody Semler after his lead-off walk, and Henry Weiler knocked a two-run single up the middle to score Peter and Madison Carter, giving the "ÃËChucks a 3-0 lead. After a Tate Matheny three-run home run made it 8-4, the Mallards would eventually bring the tying run to the plate.
