Charleston Dirty Birds News Release
(Charleston, WV) -- This Sunday, July 22nd, the West Virginia Power will be hosting a Christmas in July Celebration at Appalachian Power Park. The night will include festivities such as holiday music, a visit from Santa Claus and a gift drive to benefit the Salvation Army.
The Power are encouraging fans to donate a Christmas gift for a young boy or girl. All gifts will be donated to the Salvation Army to use this coming Christmas. Gifts should be non-perishable and suitable for newborns through 14 years of age. As an appreciation for their donation, fans who bring a gift will receive a FREE ticket to a future 2007 Power game.
