Chris Davis Rehabbing in Bowie this Weekend

BOWIE, Md. - Baltimore Orioles slugger Chris Davis is scheduled to make a Major League rehab appearance with the Baysox at Prince George's Stadium on Saturday and will be re-evaluated before Sunday. See the Orioles All-Star first baseman up close at Prince George's Stadium this weekend only.

Purchase tickets to the Baysox games on Saturday or Sunday on www.baysox.com, by calling the Baysox Ticket Office at 301-464-4865 or by visiting the Baysox Ticket Office in person. The Baysox are expecting a large crowd on Saturday night so be sure to purchase your tickets early. Saturday night is Reading Night for Anne Arundel, Howard and Queen Anne's Counties and there will be Fireworks after the game. It's also Soccer Night with DC United and the gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:35 p.m. game. Sunday is the Baysox Mother's Day Celebration beginning at 2:05 p.m.

Davis has been on the Disabled List since April 27 with a strained oblique muscle. Chris Davis also rehabbed with the Baysox in September 2011. He played in two games and hit .500 (3-6) with a double.
