
CHL Releases Best of the Best Poll Results

FORT WORTH, Texas (March 15) - The Central Hockey League announced Friday the results of the annual Best of the Best poll, voted on by a representative from each team. The Brahmas earned nine top-three finishes, including two first-place results.
Fort Worth received six out of ten possible first-place votes to earn the nod for hardest working team. The NYTEX Sports Centre also received six top votes as the toughest building to win in.
The team notched second-place results for four categories. John Snowden finished second in best on power play, Ross Rouleau for best defensive defenseman, Dan Wildfong for best coach and the Brahmas' hometown faithful for most annoying fans.
Third-place finishes included Kristofer Westblom for best goaltender, Adam Hogg for best defensive forward and the Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Hurst for best host hotel.
The Brahmas received the second fewest total votes with nine, one more than the Tulsa Oilers. The Missouri Mavericks earned the most votes with 24, including 12 first-place tallies.
The Brahmas in action at the NYTEX Sports Centre tonight, Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 when they face off against the Allen Americans. Both games begin at 7:30pm.
