Chiefs Trade For Forward

Johnstown, PA - The Johnstown Chiefs acquired forward Mike Falk from the Charlotte Checkers in a trade today. Falk was received in exchange for future considerations.

An alumni of Bowling Green State University, Falk is now with his third ECHL team this season. He registered one goal and three assists in 13 games with the Mississippi Sea Wolves, and one assist in four games with Charlotte. Falk will join the Chiefs for their game in Columbia.

Also, the Chiefs received defenseman Vladimir Denisov from the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL) on Tuesday. Denisov played his first game with Johnstown against Augusta Tuesday night, but did not register a point.

Randy Rowe was also placed on the seven-day IR. Rowe suffered a concussion in the Tuesday contest at Augusta.

The Chiefs' next home game is on Friday December, 21 against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
