Beloit, WI - The Peoria Chiefs and Beloit Snappers were rained out on Tuesday evening in Wisconsin and will attempt a double header at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday to end the series. The rain, which began about a half hour before Monday's rain-shortened game, never let up and with the forecast not looking much better throughout the night the game was called at 3:45 p.m.
The Chiefs are expected to start RH Jake Woodford (0-3, 3.68) and RH Sandy Alcantara (3-1, 3.86) in the double header against Beloit's RH James Naile (1-4, 4.39) and RH Angel Duno (2-1, 2.17). Both games will be scheduled for seven innings.
