LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, Lansing Lugnuts pitcher Francisco Rios has been promoted to A-Adv. Dunedin, with pitcher Ryan Borucki transferred from Dunedin to Lansing in a corresponding move.

Rios, 21, had dazzled the Midwest League with a 2-0 record and a 1.20 ERA in six starts, striking out 43 batters in 30 innings. In his most recent start, the native of Monclova, Mexico, struck out 10 Quad Cities River Bandits in 5 2/3 shutout innings, allowing only one hit.

Borucki, 22, is rated by MLB.com as the Blue Jays' #12 prospect in the organization. Drafted in the 15th round in 2012 from Mundelein (IL) High School, the 6-foot-4 left-hander was 1-4 with a 14.40 ERA in six starts with the Dunedin Blue Jays.

The Lansing Lugnuts' roster sits at the maximum of 25 active players with one player on the Disabled List. The Lugnuts are currently in the middle of a three-game road trip in Bowling Green, returning to Cooley Law School Stadium for a four-game homestand stretching from Thursday through Sunday against South Bend.
