Johnstown, PA- The Toledo Storm scored five unanswered goals as they defeated the Johnstown Chiefs 5-2, Wednesday night at the War Memorial.

Nick Parillo and Alexandre Jacques each had two goals for the Storm. Jeff Johnstone also scored for Toledo.

The Chiefs jumped out to a 2-0 lead with first period goals by Brent Bilodeau and Sam St. Pierre.

Toledo goaltender Mike Minard made 23 saves for his first win of the season, while Chiefs goaltender Peter Aubry suffered the loss making 38 saves.

The Chiefs fall to 14-20-7 on the season, while Toledo improves to an ECHL league leading 27-7-4.

The Chiefs will play three games in three nights this weekend with games in Peoria Friday and Saturday (8:00 p.m.). Sunday night the Chiefs will play at Dayton (6:00 p.m.). The Chiefs return home on Friday, January 24th against Reading. Saturday January 25th the Chiefs will take on the Dayton Bombers at 7:30 p.m. All games are broadcasted on 850 AM WLYE (Johnstown), 990 WVSC (Somerset), and 1400 WBZV (Ebensburg), and on the World Wide Web at www.johnstownchiefs.com.
