The Dayton Bombers Professional Hockey Team has announced that fans and those college students priming for spring break can register now for the "Ultimate Tan" Tanning Contest where the winner will take a home a $500 grand prize during "Beach Party" Night at the Ervin J. Nutter Center on Friday, January 24, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. when the club hosts the Toledo Storm. Fans can register by going to the Bombers website at www.daytonbombers.com. Schedule an appointment by calling Mike or Paula Kobylack at 298-4271. Ultimate Tan is located on the corner of Stroop and Wilmington Pike (1843 E. Stroop Rd.) behind Blockbuster Video in Kettering.

Ultimate Tan offers the new "speed system" tanning beds, in addition to a huge assortment of lotions, including "Australian Gold" and "Swedish Beauty." Purchase a tanning package at Ultimate Tan and get your first 100 minutes for free.

Students can purchase tickets for this promotion-packed, theme event for just $5 with a valid student ID. The band, Wild Stuff, will be performing a post-game concert, presented by Wright-Patt Credit Union. In addition, beer will be just $1 and margaritas on the rocks will be just $2.

The Bombers' next home game will be this coming Sunday, January 19 against the Chiefs (6:00 p.m.). There will be a pre-game skate from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on another Kids' Club Sunday (presented by Capn' Bogey's) at the Nutter Center. The Bombers will play a pair of road games before Sunday. The team will play at Toledo on Friday, January 17 and at Wheeling on Saturday, January 18. Both games are at 7:30 p.m. (7:15 p.m. broadcast time on www.daytonbombers.com).
