Grand Chute, WI - The Peoria Chiefs lost for the second night in a row with a 4-1 set back on the road against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Friday night. The loss drops the Chiefs to 6-8 on the season with two games left in the series.

After the Chiefs left runners at second and third in the top of the first inning, Wisconsin grabbed the lead in their half of the third. A leadoff walk and fielders' choice put a runner on with two outs against Chiefs starter Ian Oxnevad. Demi Orimoloye doubled down the third base line to score the first run of the game before a hit batter and walk loaded the bases. Monte Harrison drew a walk to force in Orimoloye before Oxnevad struck out Ronnie Gideon to end the inning.

Harrison doubled the Wisconsin lead in the fifth inning with a two-run homer to left, his third of the series and fifth of the season. The blast scored Orimoloye who led off the frame with a single, his third hit of the game.

The Chiefs avoided the shutout in the seventh against reliever Andrew Vernon. With one out, Danny Hudzina blasted a line drive homer over the high wall in left field for a solo homer. Hudzina also homered on Thursday night and joins Dylan Carlson and Ryan McCarvel as Chiefs players to homer in consecutive games this season. Following the home run, the Chiefs only got one more base runner, an infield single for Tommy Edman with one out in the eighth.

Oxnevad (0-2) takes the loss after allowing four runs on five hits over five innings while walking three and striking out six. Brady Bowen allowed one hit and struck out two over 1 2/3 shutout innings. Estarlin Arias walked two over 1 1/3 shutout and hitless innings.
