Lugnuts Starter Gutierrez Placed on DL

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts announce that pitcher Osman Gutierrez has been placed on the 7-day Disabled List.

Gutierrez, 22, departed Thursday night's start against Bowling Green due to injury precaution in the second inning. In his first season in the Midwest League, the right-hander is 0-3 with a 13.50 ERA in three starts.

The Lugnuts' roster consists of 23 active players with eight players on the Disabled List and one player on the Suspended List.
