Johnstown, PA- Dmitri Tarabrin had a shorthanded goal and an assist to lead the Johnstown Chiefs to a 4-1 win Sunday night at the War Memorial Arena. The win ended the Chiefs two game losing streak.

Steve Hildenbrand, Chad Cavanagh and Joe Tallari also scored for Johnstown. Cail MacLean scored the lone Reading goal 9in the contest.

Chiefs goaltender David Currie was the games #2 star making 31 saves and posting his 9th win of the season. Barry Brust made 18 saves for the Royals.

The Chiefs are now 13-8-9 on the season. Reading is now 18-10-2,

The Chiefs take to the road next Friday night when they visit the Wheeling Nailers (7:00 p.m). Next Saturday night the Chiefs will host the Toledo Storm at 7:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon Wheeling returns for a 3:00 p.m. game. Mark Saturday February 5th on your calendar when the Chiefs host the Dan Diego Gulls as the #3 Dale Earnhardt Sr. "Intimidator," car will be on display at the arena.
