Chiefs Announce Upcoming Player Appearances

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today three player public appearances taking place next week.

On Monday, December 15 Chiefs players will be helping "Cuddles for Kids" distribute stuffed animals to children at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. "Cuddles for Kids" is a stuffed animal and book donation charity that was started by Conner Hagins, a sixth grade student at Westmont Middle School. The Chiefs will be helping to donate toys and books that were collected at their home game on December 10 against Elmira. The players will be at the hospital from 2 PM until approximately 3 PM.

This Tuesday, December 16 the Chiefs will be at the Galleria Mall outside the Italian Oven restaurant ringing bells on behalf of the Salvation Army from 2 PM until 4 PM, and on Wednesday, December 17 the Chiefs will appear for a meet-and-greet at Concurrent Technologies Corporation from 12:15 PM until 1:00 PM.

Mark your calendars! The Chiefs are back on home ice Saturday, December 20th at 7:05pm when they host the Wheeling Nailers.
