Kevin Harvey Loaned To Syracuse

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Kevin Harvey has been loaned to the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL. In separate transactions previously completed, the Royals (i) moved forward Matt Herneisen from the 7-Day Injured Reserve to the 30-Day Injured Reserve; and (ii) placed defenseman Scott Langdon on the 7-Day Injured Reserve.

This marks the second trip to the AHL this season for Harvey, who played two games with Syracuse last week, scoring a goal and registering twenty penalty minutes (which included two fighting majors) in his time with the Crunch. Harvey, a third year pro from Sheffield, Ontario, has scored three goals and picked up seven assists (ten points) and amassed a league leading 122 penalty minutes (which includes ten fighting majors) in twenty-three games with the Royals this season.
