Chiefs - Clinton Suspended by Rain

Peoria, IL - The Peoria Chiefs were on the comeback trail in the bottom of the fourth against the Clinton LumberKings, but rain suspended the action in the bottom of the fourth Saturday night. The game will resume Sunday at Noon with Clinton leading 5-2 but the Chiefs will have the bases loaded with one out and Yaniel Cabezas due up. A seven-inning game will follow after a half-hour break. Fans with tickets to Saturday's game can redeem them at the Peoria Chiefs Stadium Box Office for any regular season 2012 game based on availability.

All dad's get in free on Sunday for Father's Day and kids 12 and under get $2.00 Kids Tickets. The first 1000 fans get a Playing Card set presented by Caterpillar for CAT Day. Super Hero Day will be Sunday with Spiderman, Superman and Batman on the concourse to sign autographs and take pictures. Fans can also join players on the concourse for autographs and photos after the game. Also due to the earlier start, fans can play catch on the field after the second game of the double-header while kids can run the bases. The Chiefs will send RH Michael Jensen (6-3, 2.55) to the mound against RH Brett Shankin (1-2, 3.43) for the final contest before the All-Star Break.
