Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
DAVENPORT, Iowa (JUNE 16, 2012) - The game scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at Modern Woodmen Park between the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers has been cancelled and will not be made up. The two teams will play the final game of the season's first half Sunday at 5 p.m. as scheduled.
The River Bandits (34-34) defeated the Timber Rattlers (44-24), 3-2, on Friday night.
Saturday's game was the first cancellation for Quad Cities this season. Two home games and one road game have been postponed by rain and made up as doubleheaders in the first half.
UP NEXT: The first 2,000 fans to the 5 p.m. River Bandits game this Sunday, June 17, receive a free HyVee tote bag. Father's Day will include postgame catch in the outfield and a U.S. Bank Family Sunday presented by KWQC-TV and B100. Fans can bring their dogs for Bark in the Park.
