OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Storm Chasers (24-24) got back to .500 and notched their second walk-off win of the season, taking the season finale with the Tacoma Rainiers (19-29) in 10 innings by a score of 6-5. The Storm Chasers won six of eight games on the homestand with two series wins.

Trailing 5-1 going in to the eighth inning, the comeback began with a solo homer by Orlando Calixte in the frame. In the ninth Brett Eibner hit a solo shot of his own, his team-leading seventh round-tripper, then Casey Kotchman doubled to put the tying run in scoring position. Two batters later, with two outs and the runner now on third, Francisco Pena collected his third extra-base hit with a game-tying double. The Storm Chasers could not knock in the winning run in the ninth, and the game headed to extras.

After Brian Broderick worked around a bases loaded jam in the top of the tenth, Calixte doubled to led off the bottom of the inning and was moved over to third on Rey Fuentes' league-leading eighth sacrifice bunt. Lane Adams, who entered the game in the top of the tenth as a defensive replacement for Alex Rios, singled up the middle to push the winning run across. The walk-off single was the first hit for Omaha that did not go for extra bases in the game.

The Storm Chasers scored earlier in the game on solo homers by Francisco Pena in the third and Rey Fuentes in the sixth. Fuentes finished off his hot homestand, where the outfielder racked up 14 hits and 11 runs scored in seven games played. Omaha was able to stay within striking distance thanks to six innings of scoreless relief, after starter Andy Ferguson allowed five runs in four innings of work.

Up next for Omaha is an eight-game roadtrip to Albuquerque and El Paso, and in the first game of the series with the Isotopes the Storm Chasers will send out RHP Yohan Pino (2-1, 5.17 ERA). First pitch on 1180 Zone 2 The Deuce and MiLB.TV is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. CDT.
