Sky Sox Return Home to An Exciting Slate of Promotions

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Colorado Springs Sky Sox return to Security Service Field on Friday, May 29 to begin an eight-game homestand with back-to-back four-game sets against the Sacramento River Cats, top affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, and the Fresno Grizzlies, top affiliate of the Houston Astros. Friday's game is scheduled for 7:05 PM MDT against Sacramento.

The Sky Sox have a full docket of exciting promotions set for the homestand, getting started immediately with 80s Hair Band Themed Friday Night Fireworks to be set off after the conclusion of the Sacramento series opener on May 29.

On the very next day, Security Service Field will host the 4th Annual Heroes Classic and Jersey Auction with special guest and former Broncos wide receiver Ed McCaffrey. The charity softball game salutes local Colorado Springs heroes including injured service members who have served our nations military, and the Colorado Springs and El Paso County Fire and Safety Departments. The softball game will take place at 3:30 PM MDT with all proceeds from the jersey auction and portions of the event's earnings going to three outstanding charities: the Colorado Springs Fire Protective Association, The Police Foundation of Colorado Springs, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

On Sunday, May 31 the first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a Sky Sox Duffle Bag courtesy of the Colorado Springs Office of Emergency Management. Fans can also enjoy 50 cent hot dogs all game long after picking up this versatile promotional item.

"Must-Win Monday" returns on June 1, guaranteeing a free ticket to a future Monday game at Security Service Field during the 2015 season with a Sox win and valid ticket from the game. Special in-game performances by world-champion juggler Josh Horton will make this Monday a must-see.

Another fan favorite, $2 Tuesday, is back for the Fresno series opener on June 2 thanks to South Colorado Springs Nissan. Fans can enjoy $2 tickets, parking and Coors and Coors Light for the entirety of the ballgame.

On Wednesday, June 3 every fan in attendance will have a chance to win a flat screen TV by entering a free raffle at the Sky Sox fan center. A winner will be chosen between each inning with nine total TVs being given away.

The Sky Sox will wrap up their fifth homestand of the season with two more unique promotions starting with $3 Craft Brew Thursday presented by Rocky Mountain Distributing on June 4. The last pitch on Friday night will be followed by Fireworks set to the legendary tracks of The Beatles, capping a great game and series to "come together" at Security Service Field.

Wednesday, June 3 7:05 p.m. Fresno Grizzlies Flat Screen TV Giveaway - Nine (9) TVs to be won throughout the ballgame.
