
Iowa Cubs to be Nationally Televised on American Sports Network, Sunday, May 31

DES MOINES, Iowa (May 27, 2015) - The Iowa Cubs' May 31 game against the El Paso Chihuahuas at Southwest University Park will be nationally televised on the American Sports Network as part of the "Minor League Baseball Sunday Showcase."
ASN, a division of Sinclair Networks Group, LLC., signed an agreement with Minor League Baseball to air a weekly showcase each Sunday from May 31-August 23 during the 2015 season. Iowa and El Paso kick off the series with a 7:05 p.m. CT first pitch.
ASN can been seen in the Des Moines area over-the-air on KDSM 17.2, or on Mediacom channel 110.
It will be the first of two scheduled Iowa Cubs games on national television this season. Iowa and Memphis open the second half of the season following the Pacific Coast League All-Star Game with a 7:08 p.m. CT contest at Principal Park July 16 on CBS Sports Network.
