Rockford IceHogs News Release
Rockford, Ill. - Just 11 games remain on the Rockford IceHogs regular season slate heading into a three-game weekend, including two games at the BMO Harris Bank center. The IceHogs have sold out four of their last five games.
Friday's contest will kick off the weekend slate for the IceHogs at 7 p.m. with the Grand Rapids Griffins coming to the BMO on sock monkey giveaway night.
The first 2,500 fans through the gates on Friday will receive an IceHogs themed sock monkey courtesy of BMO Harris Bank.
It will also be the final night of the BMO Harris Bank Sock Drive. Individuals who donate a pair of new children's socks at the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive a buy-one-get-one-free voucher to select IceHogs home games throughout the remaining season. Individuals who make donations will also receive a voucher for one free item from Beefaroo's B-Fit menu.
After a getaway game on Saturday in Grand Rapids, the IceHogs come back home to the BMO to host their I-90 rival Chicago Wolves at 4 p.m. on Sunday. The contest is another Illinois Lottery Cup matchup.
Sunday's contest will be the IceHogs 15th Annual Jersey Auction Night presented by Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall. Teaming up with the March of Dimes charitable foundation, the IceHogs will host a live auction featuring the game-worn specialty jerseys after the game. The proceeds from the live auction will go to benefit March of Dimes, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Junior IceHogs, and other local not-for-profit organizations.
Lou Bachrodt will be on hand to give a fan a chance to win a new Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. Fans will have the opportunity to enter their name before the game and during the first period. One name will be chosen prior to the end of the first period and that fan will take part in an intermission game with a chance to take home the Camaro.
Fans can also take advantage of a Vienna Beef Family Value Day on Sunday. Family's can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks for $59. Additional tickets can be purchased for $15.
