Celebrate Fourth of July Weekend at Chukchansi Park

FRESNO, Calif. - Chukchansi Park will host a can't-miss Fourth of July weekend celebration packed with entertainment and fireworks. The festivities begin this Thursday, July 3rd when the Fresno Fuego (PDL) soccer team takes on the Ventura County Fusion (PDL) at 5:00 p.m., followed by Mexican soccer giants Club America and Morelia Monarcas facing off in an exhibition at 8:00 p.m. The field will flip back to baseball for Fourth of July as the Fresno Grizzlies open up a three-game series against the Tacoma Rainiers at 7:05 p.m. Postgame fireworks will light up the Downtown Fresno skyline on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Thursday, July 3rd - Fresno Fuego vs. Ventura Co. Fusion | Morelia Monarcas vs. Club America

Grass has already taken over the infield dirt and the bases have been exchanged for goal posts in preparation for a soccer doubleheader beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last time long-standing rivals Club America and the Morelia Monarcas squared off in exhibition match on American soil was in 2012 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Remaining tickets for the match start at $36, while VIP Field Level seats are priced at $76. Postgame fireworks will be courtesy of 3 Sisters Ranch. Tickets to the exhibition match will grant admission to the 5:00 p.m. Fresno Fuego match. Friday, July 4th - Tacoma Rainiers vs. Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m.

On Fourth of July, Chukchansi Park will return to baseball as the Grizzlies begin a seven-game homestand with the first of three against the Tacoma Rainiers. Celebrate Independence Day with the Grizzlies and witness the most spectacular display of fireworks in the Central Valley, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino and ABC 30. Fans can receive a complimentary ticket to any remaining 2014 regular season game with the purchase of a Fourth of July ticket. Fans who have already purchased Fourth of July tickets can show proof of purchase at the box office to redeem their complimentary ticket(s). Gates open to the park at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 5th - Tacoma Rainiers vs. Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m.

The fun continues on Saturday with Military Appreciation Night, presented by PG&E, as the Fresno Grizzlies will honor all past and current military by wearing camouflage jerseys in the second game of the series against the Rainiers. All past and current military will receive free admission to the game by showing proof of service with a military ID or form DD214 (redeemable at the Box Office). The game-worn camo jerseys will be silently auctioned during the game on the concourse, with the proceeds benefiting Honor Flight and the 144th Fighter Wing. The game also marks an Aviator Sunglasses giveaway to the first 2,000 fans, courtesy of PG&E. Postgame fireworks, presented by PG&E and CBS 47, will cap the evening festivities at Chukchansi Park. Gates to the park open at 6:05 p.m.

Sunday, July 6th - Tacoma Rainiers vs. Fresno Grizzlies at 6:05 p.m.

The club will round out the three-game series against Tacoma during Social Sunday, presented by Save Mart Supermarkets, with the initial ARCO Value Days Family Pack. The pack includes four tickets, four jumbo hot dogs, four medium sodas, two peanut packs and two fun zone wristbands, all for $49. The deal can be purchased at the Chukchansi Park Box Office in advance and on the day of the game. Gates to the park open at 5:05 p.m.
