
Cavs and Monsters Host Holiday Toy Drive to Deliver the Magic of the Season

Cleveland Cavaliers and Lake Erie Monsters fans can help underserved children throughout the Northeast Ohio community enjoy the magic of the holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys to the 2011 Cavaliers and Monsters Holiday Toy Drive from November 25th through December 17th.
At every Monsters home game starting with the Monsters vs. Hamilton Bulldogs game on Friday, November 25th, fans can drop off toys at collection bins located at every entrance of Quicken Loans Arena. In addition, the public is invited to drop off toys at Quicken Loans Arena at the Cavaliers Team Shop during regular business hours (Monday - Friday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and receive a 10% discount!
At the conclusion of the Toy Drive, the Cavaliers and Monsters will host a holiday party where Monsters players and members of the Cavs game entertainment teams will present the toys to children from designated agencies. Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland, Boys & Girls Clubs of Lorain County, Salvation Army, Project ACT, Merrick House and Westside Ecumenical Ministries.
"The Cavs and Monsters are very proud to help make the holidays a better time for some special kids in our community who really need it," said Cavaliers President Len Komoroski. "The support from the community for the annual Toy Drive has always been remarkable. I think we all recognize the value of programs like this and the importance of helping kids have some fun and a brighter outlook during the holiday season."
