Casselman Named Cyclones Captain

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones general manager and coach Chris Cichocki announced today that the team has named Mike Cassleman as the Cyclones captain for the 2003-04 season. Casselman will wear the "C" tonight when the Clones take on the Roanoke Express at U.S. Bank Arena.

Casselman is in his 13th season of pro hockey and his fourth season with the Cyclones. In four games this season, Casselman has recorded a goal and two assists for three points. He enters tonight's game two points shy of 700 for his career.

Jason Norrie and Dean Stork were named alternate captains. Norrie is in his second season with the Cyclones and has recorded two points (1g, 1a) in the season's first four games. Norrie is in his sixth season of pro hockey. Dean Stork is in his first season with the Clones after playing last year with the Arkansas Riverblades. Stork is a six-year veteran of pro hockey.

Game time for tonight is set for 7:30 p.m. as the Clones battle the Roanoke Express at U.S. Bank Arena for the only time this year.
