Falcons Face Aces Tonight

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons will attempt to continue their winning ways as they continue an 11-game road trip to open the 2003-04 season with a three-game set beginning tonight against the Pacific Division-rival Alaska Aces at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage.

Tonight's game from Anchorage will be broadcast on a tape delay basis on KAAT 103.1 FM beginning at approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's action can be heard live on KAAT beginning at 7:50 p.m. each evening with the pre-game show. All three broadcasts will be simulcast through the Falcons' website at www.fresnofalcons.com courtesy of Sierra Tel Internet.

Fresno opened the season last Friday by shutting out the Bakersfield Condors, 3-0, behind two goals from last year's leading scorer Kris Porter and rookie goaltender Nolan Schaefer, who posted 23 saves in his first career start.

The Falcons return home for their inaugural game at Save Mart Center at Fresno State on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 5 p.m. versus the Condors.
