Carruth Reassigned to Fuel

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced Wednesday that goaltender Mac Carruth was reassigned to Indy by the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks following Carruth's fourth stint with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs this season. In six appearances for the Fuel this year, Carruth is 0-3-1-2 with a 3.11 goals-against average (GAA) and a save percentage (S%) of .895.

A Jackson, Wyoming native, Carruth was selected by the Blackhawks in the seventh round (191st overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and is 2-0-0 in two appearances for Rockford at the AHL level this season with one shutout, a 1.00 GAA and a .960 S% to his credit. In 2013-14, Carruth made seven appearances for the IceHogs, going 2-2-1 with a 3.36 GAA and a S% of .880.
