ESTERO, Fla. - The Gladiators (7-13-1-0) will take on the first place Florida Everblades (17-3-0-1) for the third time in Estero out of the six times Gwinnett will head to Germain Arena this season. After winning the initial meeting on November 8th, 3-2 (just one of Florida's three regulation losses), the Gladiators have dropped the last three contests to the Everblades.

The Everblades are led by forward Adam Brace, who has averaged over a point per game (22pts in 21 games played), and three defensemen: Matt Mangene (17pts), Mike Little (17pts), and Cameron Burt (16pts). Yesterday, Little was loaned to the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL and goaltender Allen York (12-2-1, 2.23, .906) was recalled by the Syracuse Crunch.

Glads Notes:

Glads to See Ya: The Gladiators have been more than busy in the last five days. Goaltender Mike Lee was assigned to the team by the Portland Pirates last Friday, rookie forward Dyson Stevenson was recalled to Portland on Saturday, forward Travis Ouellette was acquired in a trade with Indy for Bobby Hughes on Tuesday, and defenseman Jordon Southorn was reassigned to the team Wednesday morning.

Power Surge: The Gladiators power play is clicking at a 16.3% conversion rate, good for 16th in the league. At home, the team is 6-for-43 (14%), 18th in the league. On the road, they are even better - 7-for-37 (18.9%), 10th in the ECHL.

No Shot: The Glads are one of only two teams in the league to not have reached the shootout this season. The Alaska Aces are the only other team. The Gladiators are 2-1 in OT.

Gladiators Ahoy: Four players currently on the Gladiators roster have been assigned from their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates- James Melindy, Nathan Burns, Mike Lee, and Jordon Southorn - and six more - Joel Hanley (POR), Dan O'Donoghue (POR), Greg Carey (POR), Dyson Stevenson (POR), Bretton Stamler (HFD), and Casey Pierro-Zabotel (NOR) - have been spent time in the AHL this year.

Milestones: Eric Springer is two games away from his 100th regular season professional game ... Garry Nunn is four goals away from his 50th professional tally, and achieved his 100th professional assist on Sunday ... Geoff Paukovich is two games away from his 300th ECHL game.

Streaks: Defenseman Tristin Llewellyn has two goals and four assists in his last six games ... Casey Pierro-Zabotel has a goal and five assists in his last four games ...
