Caron, Petersen Recalled to Houston

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that D Josh Caron and LW Nick Petersen have been recalled by their American Hockey League affiliate, the Houston Aeros.

Caron heads back to Houston after being assigned to Orlando in time for Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Everblades. He has played in each of the last two games for the Solar Bears, earning four penalty minutes (PIM). He has played 16 games with Orlando this season, scoring one goal and adding one assist along with 32 PIM. In nine games with the Aeros, he has picked up seven PIM.

Petersen returned to lineup after being activated from the reserve on Wednesday and had two points (1 goal, 1 assist) in the 5-1 Orlando win. He currently leads the Solar Bears in goals (12) and points (26) in 22 games. He has appeared in two games with Houston this season.
