LOVELAND, Colo. - The Bakersfield Condors (7-20-1-2, 17pts) received multi-point nights from C Peter Boyd and RW Jacob Lagace, but fell to the Colorado Eagles (16-11-1-2, 35pts), 5-2 on Saturday night at the Budweiser Events Center.

Colorado capitalized on their first power play of the night at 5:09 when F Teegan Moore blasted home a one-timer from the right-wing circle to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Just 1:08 later, F Kevin Ulanski scooped home a loose puck near the side of the Condors net, and Colorado took a 2-0 lead with them into the intermission. Bakersfield was outshot, 13-4.

Bakersfield started the second period well and Boyd delivered on the power play when his wrist shot from the right-wing circle beat Eagles G Adam Brown, just :45 seconds into the frame, cutting the deficit in half at 2-1. However, the Eagles would tack on two more to push their lead to 4-1 when F Trent Daavettila (11:27) and Ulanski (13:18) each potted goals to give the Eagles a three-goal lead at the break. They outshot the Condors 18-10.

The Condors fought back to within two when F Daniel Koger took a feed from Boyd and beat Brown at 3:12 of the third period to make it 4-2 Colorado. However, the Eagles would tally a power-play goal from Daavettila at 7:34 and would complete the sweep, 5-2.
