
Canes Host Blades Tuesday Night

Lethbridge Hurricanes News Release
The Lethbridge Hurricanes will wear their road jerseys at home Tuesday night when they entertain the Saskatoon Blades.
Tuesday is the third of five meetings this season between the Canes and Blades. The Hurricanes have a 1-1-0-0 record against the Blades. The last game between the Canes and Blades was played on December 2nd in Saskatoon. The Hurricanes won 5-2. Nick Tarnasky had three assists for the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes have an all-time record of 48-41-5-2 against the Blades. The next meeting between the Blades and Hurricanes is February 20th in Saskatoon.
2 For the Road
The Hurricanes are coming off a pair of road ties this past weekend. On Friday Kyle Pess had both Hurricane goals in Swift Current as the Canes and Broncos skated to a 2-2 draw. Saturday in Kootenay Pess and John Lammers had the Hurricanes goals as the Canes and Ice tied at two. Logan Koopmans started both games in goal for the Hurricanes and was named first star in both contests.
The Hurricanes haven't lost in regulation time in their past 5 games going 2-0-2-1.

National Spotlight to Shine on Canes
The Western Hockey League has announced that the Lethbridge Hurricanes will host the only nationally televised Western Hockey League game when they take on the Division Rival Swift Current Broncos on Sunday February 8th, 2004.
The game time has been changed to accommodate the national audience from 6pm MST to 4pm MST. The last time the Hurricanes hosted a CHL on Rogers SportsNet broadcast was Friday March 1st, 2002.
