Sorochan named Greyhound WHL Player of the Week

Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is goaltender Aaron Sorochan of the Vancouver Giants. Sorochan earned player of the week honours by recording three wins, including a shutout in three games. Sorochan recorded a 1.00 goals against average and a 0.963 save percentage during the week of January 19th to January 25th.
On Friday, January 23rd, Sorochan recorded 30 saves in a 2-1 road victory against the Kamloops Blazers. On Saturday, January 24th, Sorochan made 25 saves in a 3-2 overtime win against the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds.
On Sunday, January 25th, Sorochan stopped all 24 shots he faced in a 4-0 shutout win against the Thunderbirds in Seattle.
Sorochan, a 19-year-old from Edmonton, Alberta, is a free agent.
