Canadiens Recall Tom Pyatt From Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Tom Pyatt has been recalled to the Canadiens from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Pyatt, 23, has played in 22 games with the Canadiens this season recording one goal and one assist, his first two NHL points in a game against Washington on February 10th. In 41 games with the 'Dogs this season, the native of Thunder Bay, Ontario has amassed 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) and eight penalty minutes. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound centre was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 4th round, 107th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and acquired by Montreal in a trade with New York on June 30, 2009.

The 'Dogs host the Toronto Marlies tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. Fans can listen to every 'Dogs game on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, TALK 820.
