Canadiens Recall Tinordi from Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have recalled defenceman Jarred Tinordi from the Bulldogs.
Tinordi has split this season between Hamilton and Montreal. In 47 games with Hamilton, the 6'6", 227-pound defenceman has recorded nine points (three goals, six assists) and 70 penalty minutes. In six games with Montreal, the Burnsville, Minnesota native has recorded no points and nine penalty minutes.
In 114 career American Hockey League regular season games with the Bulldogs, the 22-year-old has recorded 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) and 141 penalty minutes. In 14 career National Hockey League games with the Canadiens, he has recorded two assists and 11 penalty minutes.
Tinordi was selected by the Canadiens in the first round (22nd overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Hamilton's next game is scheduled for Friday, February 28th when the 'Dogs will host the Lake Erie Monsters (American Hockey League affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m.
