Called Up: Noah Allen and Benjamin Cremaschi Called up to the U.S. U-19 Men's Youth National Team

Inter Miami CF Homegrown defender Noah Allen and Inter Miami CF II and Academy midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi have been called up to the United States U-19s Men's Youth National Team for its participation in the upcoming Slovenia Nations Cup. The Inter Miami CF Academy products will be playing three matches with the team later this month in Terme Catez, Slovenia.

The U.S. U-19s MYNT first match will be against Malta on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. ET, the second match will be played against Croatia on Friday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. ET, and third match against Scotland on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. ET. Broadcast information for the Slovenia Nations Cup is still to be confirmed.

Allen has appeared eight times for Inter Miami CF and has played on 15 occasions for Inter Miami CF II this season, racking up 320 minutes for Inter Miami CF and 1232 minutes for Inter Miami CF II. The defender has also registered four assists for Inter Miami II, the second highest tally on the team in 2022.

Allen, 18, signed a Homegrown Player contract with Inter Miami in March after winning USL League One Young Player of the year honors with Inter Miami CF II in 2021. In 2022, he became the second Inter Miami Academy product to feature in an MLS match, and first to start an MLS match, when he featured in the team's home opener on Feb. 26 against the Chicago Fire.

On the international front, the defender was called up to the U.S. U-20 MYNT at the start of the year, featuring as one of 26 players at a training camp at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and was later a key member in helping his country clinch its third CONCACAF U-20 Championship title in the tournament that took place from late June through early July, advancing to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia and the Summer Olympics in 2024 in the process. Allen was a fixture in the team's lineups throughout the competition, making five appearances, including four starts and starting in the final. He even managed to get on the scoreboard in the final against the Dominican Republic on July 3, netting the team's fourth goal in the 39th minute of the match en route to the title-clinching 6-0 victory.

Cremaschi, meanwhile, has appeared in 13 matches for Inter Miami CF II, scoring five goals and registering an assist in 744 minutes played in the 2022 season. The 17-year-old was also a standout for the Inter Miami U-17 team during the 2021-22 season, being one of the sides' leaders at the 2022 Generation adidas Cup back in April, helping the team finish at the top of the U-17 East (South) Division which concluded in June, and being part of the squad that competed at the MLS NEXT Cup U-17 tournament at the end of June and early July.

On the international level, Cremaschi was previously called up by coach Marko Mitrović to the U.S. U-19 Men's Youth National Team for friendlies against England and Norway in Marbella, Spain, in June and for a training camp from July 25 through Aug. 2 in Carson, Calif., as well as for a training camp with the U.S. U-17 team at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson from April 22 to May 1.

Both players are among a list of current and former Inter Miami CF Academy players to be called up to a national team; Edison Azcona, Tyler Austin, Israel Boatwright, Justin Ellis, Santiago Morales, Felipe Valencia, Logan Batiste and Tyler Hall have all been called up previously, among others.
