Calgary Hitmen Acquire Del Cowan From The Prince George Cougars

Calgary, AB - Calgary Hitmen General Manager Kelly Kisio announced today the acquisition of 20-year-old forward Del Cowan from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for a conditional eighth round pick in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.
"Cowan has been a solid player and solid citizen in the Western Hockey League for a long time and with an abundance of 20-year-old's in Prince George and an open spot in Calgary we feel Del will be a strong contributor to our hockey team," said Kisio.
Cowan is currently en route to Calgary and is expected to make his Hitmen debut Wednesday night against the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
