
Buy Amerks Or Knighthawks Season Tickets And Have A Chance To Win A Car

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans and Knighthawks announced today that fans purchasing new hockey or lacrosse season tickets for the 2008-09 seasons will have a chance to win a 2009 Honda Fit from Dick Ide Pontiac/Honda. All current Amerks and Knighthawks season ticketholders will also be registered to win the vehicle.
The event runs from Thursday, October 2nd to February. The winners will be drawn at a special Dealership Party at Dick Ide, 875 Panorama Trail in Penfield, in mid to late February. The 2009 Honda Fit is valued at $17,000.*
"We, at Dick Ide Pontiac/Honda are extremely pleased with our new partnership with the Rochester Americans and Knighthawks organizations," said Rich Ide of Dick Ide Honda/Pontiac. "It is with great excitement that we give a car away to a lucky season ticket holder! We hope to see many fans in the stands cheering on their hometown heroes. Best of luck to both teams this season!"
Season ticket holders will receive one ballot per seat and one ballot per voucher pack. The organization will preselect five winners in late January/early February at a home game at The Blue Cross Arena. An additional five winners will be drawn at Dick Ide, as part of the Second Chance raffle. The preselected entrees and the second group of five must be present at the dealership to win. The 10 winners will each receive a key at the Dealership Party and one will turn the ignition and start the vehicle.
Current season ticket holders can also receive extra ballots through a referral program. The current season ticket holder will receive as many ballots as season tickets purchased by the referred customer.
Dick Ide has been family-owned and operated for three generations, starting when Dick Ide opened his Pontiac dealership in Fairport in 1969. Now, his son, Mitch, and grandson, Rich, are at Dick Ide Pontiac Honda carrying on the family name and the Ide way of business: Fair and Honest.
The Amerks will open their 53rd American Hockey League season on Friday, October 10th at 7:35 p.m. against the Syracuse Crunch at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial.
The Knighthawks will open their 2009 schedule at Chicago on Saturday, December 27th. The Knighthawks will battle the East Division Shamrox at 8:00 p.m. Rochester will also host Chicago in their home opener on Saturday, January 10th at 8:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
* - The winner will be required to pay tax, title, insurance, etc. fees associated with owning a new vehicle.
