
Busenburg Returns to South Carolina

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and head coach Jason Fitzsimmons announced today that defenseman Marc Busenburg will be returning to the team from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.
Busenburg, 29, is returning from his fourth stint in the AHL this season. The Worcester, MA native has three points on three assists in 27 games with the Bears. Busenburg has now played 229 games in the AHL.
The 6'1", 185-pound Busenburg has played 30 games with the Stingrays this year. He has 18 points (5g-13a) and 18 penalty minutes. Busenburg is expected in the line-up when the Stingrays travel to face the Gwinnett Gladiators on Thursday.
The Stingrays hit the road this weekend for games against the Gwinnett Gladiators and the Augusta Lynx. The Rays return home for the last regular season home game on April 7 against the Texas Wildcatters for Fan Appreciation Night. Come early to get your Team Photo sponsored by Wendy's.
